One summer I visited this place, a lake in my area.

Everyone had fun being here.

Walking, lying, entertaining and playing with dog and child.

There was a lot going on, but it was a very relaxing and pleasant time.

When the sun went down, everyone went home.

I thought it would be nice if I could do something with or in this place.

From this thought, my project has developed to bring the motifs of my painting three-dimensionally into nature, since animals or figures in landscapes are important topics in my art.

A project with which the artwork and my painting blend harmoniously into the landscape and enrich it.

I decided to use papier-mâché to implement my painting in three dimensions, as it is familiar to most people and a life-like medium and because it is very suitable for working with paint. I also wanted to see if this material works in a large format.

Nevertheless, I am particularly interested in the difference of the work process between image and plastic and how both affect each other.

By combining my sculptures with a public, natural space, I want to create a pleasant and cheerful atmosphere for the visitors.

The project offers the opportunity to meet new people, to work in different places and for me an extension, as I can show my art.

The conversion of painting to sculpture and the release of my painted beings into the real world gives me interesting impulses for my artistic development.

I plan to expand this project in the future and work on it with other artists in exchange.
